In this intimate dialogue between the wrinkled hand and the tattered foliage, I sought to question the fragility of the living and the permanence of mnemonic structures. The assertive film grain and rigorous contrast that I pursued highlight the shared organic geometry between the texture of the skin and the neural network of the leaf. More than a simple memento mori, this black-and-white composition celebrates for me the silent transmission and the beauty of the ephemeral through the prism of a humanity deeply rooted in nature.
